A sincere thank you to Mastercam for their support of our team, providing industry quality software to program our machines to help build Purdue Northwest Baja Racing's vehicle.

Without a way to manufacture parts, design can only go so far. Mastercam gives us the ability to easily machine even the most complicated of parts.

For over 40 years, Mastercam has developed software along industry professionals from the shop floors to the programming office to best tailor their program not just for the office, but for the shop as well!

Comp day 4!!🏁🏎️

One last early start as we prepared for the best part of the weekend: the endurance race! Before the race, we sent one of our members to help out carnage crew. We started strong from position 76, but halfway through, ran into some CVT issues. After a quick fix in the pit, we zoomed back into the race and finished strong at position 58! When we were getting the trailer packed, we found out we won a huge Igloo cooler from the event raffle! Safe to say our endurance day was a success, and we can’t wait to come back even stronger in Ohio!

Day 3!! 🏁🏁

Another early start for us as we zoomed into day 3! We started the day on the practice track but some cvt issues threw a wrench in our plans. After spending the day tuning the cvt, we hit the courses and put our names on the board. At the end of the day, we prepare for the main event - Endurance Race on Day 4!! 🏁🛠️

Comp Day 2!! 🏁🛠️

An even earlier start for us on day 2! Site opened earlier so we could pick up where we left off Thursday evening. We made some last minute fixes, and took the car over to design presentations. Our presenters did amazing! We then went for tech inspection, did egress, and passed final tech!
We also passed brake check, so a lot of excitement yesterday. We made some minor adjustments at the end of the day, and we are so ready to take on Day 3!! 🏁

🏁 Comp Day 1 🏁

It was an early start (and an early finish) for us today! We got set up quickly and had some luck on our side, drawing #5 for engine check. After passing that, we headed over to tech inspection.

Unfortunately, we didn’t make it through tech on the first attempt, but that’s all part of the process. Before we could make another run at it, storms and lightning rolled into the area, bringing the day to an early close.

We packed up, headed home, and are ready to come back stronger. Day 2, here we come! 🏁

A big thank you from our team to everyone who donated during Purdue Northwest’s Day of Giving. With all your support, we raised $4,060 out of our $7,000 goal. Your generosity is helping us get to competition! We came in second place in the Student Organization group, which is fantastic!
All your donations have a direct impact on us: ability to travel, compete, and continue to allow our team to learn through experience. Whether you gave anything, or just helped get the word out, you greatly impacted our team, and we are very grateful.
Special thanks to our faculty, alumni, family, and friends for backing us constantly. We are so very thankful for you, and we couldn’t do any of this without your support.

🚨 Today is Day of Giving!! It runs until 11 PM CT 🚨

All donations go directly toward our competition costs, helping us get to and compete at events throughout the season. From transportation to lodging, every dollar plays a role in getting our car on the track.

On average, each competition costs about $8,000 and that’s just to show up and compete.

Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a real impact on our ability to compete and grow as a team.

It’s almost go time 🏁🔥

Purdue Northwest’s Day of Giving is this Wednesday! Our car is built, now, all that’s left is getting to competition.

Every dollar raised goes directly toward travel costs for our 2026 Baja competitions, helping us get our car from the shop to the starting line.

From late nights to race day, this is the final push.
