Hill Top Academy Hill Top Academy is a dynamic educational community committed to the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth of individual students.

Hill Top Academy is a school that provides special education services operated by the Capital Area Intermediate Unit. The school serves students K-12, ages 5-21. The students who come to Hill Top all have special academic and emotional needs. The unique aspect at Hill Top is the use of 8 full-time therapy dogs that spend their days in the classrooms with the students. The dogs help comfort the stu

dents when they feel frustrated, listen to the children read, and teach our students the responsibility of caring for their classroom dog. These therapy dogs have become a critical aspect to the success of the school and our students.
