Ta**us USA has no business putting out a $300 38 spl that comes in better squared away than an $800 smith. But yet here it is. Brandt Bjornsen put 20 dollar springs and better grips on this one. He’s still well under $400 and this thing is sweet. I guess it’s technically a Heritage Manufacturing, Inc. made by Tarus. Either way Ole Rosco can run.

He came for a private lesson but had to bust out this degenerate shenanigans first!

The crew at Cosaint Arms were kind enough to rebuild my double stack guns after some serious use in the last few years. This is the line up.
COS11 single stack 4.25” with a 407 comp GR
20S21 Double Stack with aluminum grip, aluminum magwell SRO extended controls, Cosaint tooless guide rod.
COS21 Double Stack V10 Ported with 507 comp, aluminum grip, aluminum magwell extended controls, Cosaint toolless guide rod.

All these guns shoot fantastic and cover my realm of needs very nicely. I’ve been working with these guys for a while now and I’ll say I’m impressed.

If the Sturm, R***r & Co., Inc. is as good as it seems like it’s going to be it’ll quickly become one of my top budget options for students. This gun represents a lot of positive improvements to the G***k platform with very few downsides. We’ll see how the optics mounting holds up and find about regarding reliability. Zeroed really quick tonight with a 508 T from Holosun Technologies I had just laying around.
