The Cumberland Valley School District Agricultural Science Teachers are excited to welcome new and returning students to our program! We are excited for a great year as our program continues to grow - here are the courses being led by each teacher at each building:

The team kicked off the school year by completing a successful FFA Leadership Team Retreat earlier this week to hone their leadership skills and plan events and activities for the upcoming year. We are excited to see this group continue to lead the chapter to new heights!

🚜 WANT TO BE PART OF SOMETHING BIG? JOIN THE FFA TRACTOR RESTORATION TEAM! 🔧

We’re looking for students interested in Ag Mechanics, Ag Communications, photography/videography, record-keeping, presentations, and hands-on learning to help us restore a Farmall C tractor and prepare our project for the 2028 Pennsylvania Farm Show!

Throughout the 2026–2027 school year, our team will restore the tractor, document the process, create a video and tri-fold display, and develop a presentation about our project. This is also a fantastic school-based SAE opportunity, with hours counting toward FFA awards and degrees!

⭐ Preference given to students in grades 9–11. (Seniors are welcome to participate, but project will continue into 2027-2028 school year)
📅 Work sessions: Wednesdays at CVHS Ag Department, 3:00–8:00 PM
📝 Application deadline: Friday, September 11

For the 14th consecutive year, Cumberland Valley FFA has been rated a 3-STAR CHAPTER by the National FFA Organization! This rating is part of the National Chapter Award program.

This is the highest rating awarded to a local FFA chapter. We are 1 of only 8 chapters in Pennsylvania to receive this rating for 2026.

Eagle View FFA has been rated a 2-STAR CHAPTER by the National FFA Organization!

After receiving their official FFA Charter in January 2025, this national recognition is a testament to the hours of planning, patience, and commitment from the 2025-26 Eagle View FFA Officer Team and FFA Advisor, Mrs. Jarema.

Eagle View FFA is the only middle school FFA chapter in Pennsylvania to receive a national rating for 2026 and the first Pennsylvania FFA Middle School FFA chapter to compete in the National Chapter Award program!

Mallory Fagan (rising 10th grader) and Olivia Keifer (CV Class of 2024) represented Cumberland Valley FFA with pride during the 2026 Supreme Showmanship Contest! Only the champion showman from each species qualifies to compete in this contest for a chance to be named the Supreme Champion Showman.
