Educational Breakthroughs is delighted to announce…

My students have been accepted into Penn State!!! Congratulations guys!!!

I am offering tutoring in reading and math over the summer for students of all ages.

Specifically, I am looking for motivated students who are preparing for college. I have some openings for SAT/ACT students. My main focus is to teach students tips and tricks to master these tests and to raise their scores so they are a top candidate to be considered for the colleges of their choice! My students altogether have won thousands of dollars in scholarships with a high GPA and high SAT/ACT scores…will you be next? It takes time and dedication to achieve those results. Many of my students have scored over 1400/1600 on the SAT and over 32/36 on ACT test.

Think of it this way…if students study an average of 10 hours/week for 10 weeks that’s 100 hours of their time. Then If they win $10,000 and then divide by the 100 hours they studied that equals $100/ hour that they paid themselves for studying for the test! They can’t find a job that pays this much at their age! Studying can be a great part-time job for them this summer!

Why study with me? My students have raved on my ability to tailor lessons for their needs, my attentiveness to details and my ability to bring clarity to them on topics that they struggle with. In addition, meeting face to face brings accountability, motivation and renewed enthusiasm to keep pushing themselves to reach their goals! Even if colleges are test optional for admissions - scholarships are often based on their SAT/ACT test scores. By students committing to focus in to preparing for these tests they can pay themselves forward …and knock down the cost of their education.

I challenge each parent who is sending their kids off to school to have their children actively participate in paying for their education. They will take their education more seriously when they have their own “skin in the game!” In addition, did you know students can apply for additional scholarship money starting in Kindergarten all the way through their senior year of college?!?!!! Every dollar earned is a dollar saved in paying for schooling! Contact me for details…[717-795-9929]…I am glad to help you …my schedule is filling up quickly!

He walked away from Hollywood at the peak of his career.

In the early 2000s, Scott Neeson, then president of 20th Century Fox International, was overseeing global film distribution and living what most would call a dream life in Los Angeles. But during a trip to Phnom Penh in 2003, he visited the Stung Meanchey garbage dump. There, he saw children digging through toxic waste for scraps of food and recyclables to sell. Major outlets later reported that the experience unsettled him deeply.

What happened next wasn’t a publicity stunt. Neeson returned to Cambodia, and in 2004 he founded the Cambodian Children’s Fund. He eventually sold his mansion and relocated permanently. The organization began by providing food, schooling, and safe housing to children living around the dump. Over the years, it expanded into healthcare, vocational training, and family support programs, serving thousands in the community.

The surprising part is this: he didn’t just donate money and move on. He stayed. While Hollywood moved forward without him, he built classrooms in one of the poorest districts of Phnom Penh.

It’s easy to admire success when it shines under studio lights. It’s harder to measure success when it’s built quietly, child by child, far from red carpets.

Sometimes the biggest plot twist isn’t in a movie. It’s when someone decides to rewrite their own script.
