Love2Learn Early Learning Center

Love2Learn Early Learning Center At Love2Learn, we believe children learn best when they feel a deep sense of belonging and care.

By building an environment where children feel safe to learn and explore, we are fostering a love of learning that will last a lifetime.

One of the most common questions parents ask is:

“What did my child learn today?”

When children get older, the answer may be easy to see. They bring home worksheets, write their names, or tell you about a new math concept they learned.

For toddlers, learning often looks very different.

A child may spend the morning stacking blocks, pretending to cook in the play kitchen, digging in a sensory bin, or pushing toy animals around the classroom.

To an adult, it may look like simple play.

To an early childhood educator, it looks like learning.

When parents tour preschools, they often ask about the curriculum.

What will my child learn?

Will they be ready for kindergarten?

What subjects do you teach?

These are important questions. But after years of working with young children, we’ve come to believe something that may surprise you:

The most important part of a preschool isn’t the curriculum. It’s the environment.

At Love2Learn, we believe environment shapes everything.

It influences how children behave, how they learn, how they interact with others, and how they feel about themselves.

If you’ve ever visited a preschool classroom, you may have noticed that teachers place a lot of importance on routines.

Snack time happens at the same time each day. Circle time follows a familiar pattern. Children know when to expect outdoor play, lunch, rest time, and pick-up.

To adults, these routines may seem simple.

To young children, they are incredibly important.

Read our latest blog post to learn why we believe predictable routines are one of the most powerful tools for helping children feel safe, confident, and ready to learn. 🌱

At Love2Learn, we are constantly asking ourselves an important question:

“Does this align with the childhood experience we want to create?”

Recently, that question led us to make a significant decision: we removed all of the televisions from our classrooms.

For some families, this may come as a surprise. We were never a screen-heavy program. In fact, the TVs were used very sparingly, typically for an occasional educational video, movement activity, or special themed lesson.

But as we reflected on our values and the type of environment we want to create, we realized something important:

Even limited screen use was not aligned with our vision for childhood.

The foundation for confidence, learning, and emotional well-being
When parents think about preschool, they often focus on academics, routines, or socialization.

But before children can confidently learn, explore, and build relationships, they need something even more important:

Secure attachment.

At Love2Learn Early Learning Center, we believe emotional security is the foundation for healthy development, especially during the first three years of life.

The relationships children build during these early years shape the way they:

🌎View the world
😬Handle stress
💪Build confidence
❤Form future relationships
📝Approach learning

Starting preschool is a major milestone for both children and parents.

For many families, it is the first time their child will spend part of the day away from home in a classroom setting. It is completely normal to feel a mix of excitement, nervousness, and uncertainty.

At Love2Learn Early Learning Center, we understand how important this transition is. Our goal is to make your child’s first experience with preschool feel warm, gentle, and positive from the very beginning.

For many parents, starting daycare can feel like a big transition. Questions about routines, separation anxiety, and adjustment are completely normal, especially for families with younger children.

What many parents do not realize is that summer can actually be one of the best times to begin daycare.

At Love2Learn Early Learning Center, we often find that children who start during the summer months adjust more gradually and comfortably before the busy fall season begins.

If you have a 1-year-old in daycare, you may have wondered, “What are they actually learning?”

You’re not alone. At this age, there are no worksheets, no formal lessons, and no obvious “academic” work coming home.

But here’s the truth: Your child is learning more right now than they ever will in any other stage of life.

Read our latest blog post to learn about how we support this learning—even when it looks like simple play. 🌱

For many parents, the hardest part of starting daycare is not the schedule or the packing list.

It’s the drop-off.

The moment when your child reaches for you, cries, or hesitates can feel overwhelming. It can make you question whether you are making the right decision.

At Love2Learn Early Learning Center, we understand this deeply. And we want you to know:

Separation anxiety is normal. It is healthy. And it can be supported in a positive way.
