Bittersweet for the staff at Silver Spring today as we said goodbye to our wonderful students for the summer. We will miss seeing them each day, but we are so proud of all their hard work throughout the year and know they have earned a well-deserved break. Here are some photos from the last day of school, along with a few highlights from the 5th Grade Luau. We wish all of our students and their families a happy, safe, and relaxing summer break!

Senior Walk at Silver Spring this morning! It was such a special treat seeing our former students return to where it all began. Mrs. Lehman, Ms. Strome, and Mrs. Kurtz enjoyed reuniting with their former students, and although Lucia did not attend Silver Spring, she made a special visit to see her mom, Ms. Maas, and her former teacher from Sporting Hill, Mrs. Sherman. Some seniors even relived their elementary school years by playing recess games.

Here are more pictures from Field Day. Take a look at all the fun from Mr. Goldinger’s and Mrs. Flickinger’s adorable students. It was a wonderful day filled with smiles, teamwork, and school spirit!

We also wanted to share a little from our amazing Portrait of an Eagle Night Showcase. It was a very busy week, so we didn’t get many pictures throughout the school. We were able to capture some beautiful student artwork and projects on display in the C hallway and the MPR. Our students did a fantastic job showcasing the Portrait of an Eagle competencies: responsibility, adaptability, problem solving, communication, empathy, and confidence. Their creativity and hard work truly shined through in each project!

We are so proud of all of our talented students!
