We're proud to share that AdaptX received a grant from the Run for Good social impact program. Many of the Massachusetts initiatives highlighted in the impact report that we published last week were made possible by their support.
• Next Stride Clinics - amputee running and mobility clinics where participants have the opportunity to demo running blades and receive expert coaching
• Run n' Roll Club - weekly inclusive programs for athletes of all ages and abilities to walk, run, or roll
• Adaptive Athlete Equipment Grants - removing financial barriers to participation by funding running prosthetics, racing chairs, and more
• Unified 5K - our inclusive race series that fuels it all
At the center of this work are athletes like Michele. A nurse practitioner and lifelong athlete, Michele has run 19 marathons, the majority of them in her trusted Saucony shoes. In March 2024, a skiing accident left her with a C3 spinal cord injury, but her love of movement hasn't wavered. In her words: "Saucony has remained my go-to… for the comfort, performance, and reliability that have supported me through so many miles and memorable moments."
Thank you, , for helping us make movement possible for more people.
