Yesterday, in preparation for the upcoming EOG testing, Mrs. Jones second graders served Ms. Corbett’s rising third graders a “Do nut” Fear! I BELEIVE IN YOU! donut & lemonade breakfast. All the kiddos enjoyed serving, mingling and listening to uplifting songs like Its A Beautiful Morning, Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, Party in the USA and ended with Katy Perr’s Roar! Second grade worked together to set up, serve, entertain, and then worked together to clean up.

Yesterday the South Elementary 5th Graders took on the South Elementary Staff in the 1st annual South Kickball Bash! The Staff could have won but the game was called because of thunder and lightning. The 5th graders pulled it out with the win at 6 - 5. Even though everyone was SOAKING WET at the end, it was an absolute blast.
