Happy Birthday, Dr. Maria Montessori! 🎂🌿

Today we celebrated the woman who taught us to follow the child… so naturally, we handed the children paintbrushes and let them finish her portrait. 😂🎨

The results are, in our completely unbiased opinion, museum worthy.

Each one is wildly different, completely their own, and honestly? We think Maria would approve. ❤️

There is something special about the last day of school.

No lessons to finish. No checklists to complete. Just children being children—running through sprinklers, gathering around water tables, chasing bubbles, dancing to their favorite songs (with plenty of Danny Go 🎶), enjoying ice pops with friends, and making one more joyful memory together.

As we close out another beautiful school year, we’re feeling both grateful and a little emotional. We will miss the children and families who are moving on to new adventures, and we are so proud of all they have accomplished during their time here.

Thank you for trusting us with your children this year. What a privilege it has been to watch them grow.

Now it’s time to trade the school year for summer fun! ☀️💦 We can’t wait to welcome our campers on Monday and begin another season of adventure, exploration, and memory-making.

And just like that… our Lucie is a graduate. 🎓💚

We’ve watched her grow from a tiny Montessori student into a confident leader, a loyal friend, and our unofficial assistant teacher. Her quick wit, honesty, and caring heart have left a mark on our classroom that won’t soon be forgotten.

We are so proud of you, Lucie. Go shine your light—you are more than ready for what’s next. 🌱✨

Our teachers guide, observe, support, and celebrate each child’s unfolding—meeting them exactly where they are, every single day.

We are so grateful for the patience, presence, and quiet magic they bring to our classrooms. 🌿

Today in our classroom, we explored the world of legends and folklore—those timeless stories that have been told and retold across generations, growing a little more magical each time. 🍀

After learning about leprechauns and Irish folklore, the children arrived this morning to discover… something a little peculiar. Tiny green footprints, a bit of mischief on our shelves, and even a few hints that we may have had a very sneaky visitor overnight.

The children became curious observers and little detectives, searching for clues and sharing their theories about what might have happened. Moments like these remind us how powerful imagination, storytelling, and wonder can be in a child’s learning experience.

We may never know exactly what happened… but we have our suspicions. 🌈✨🍀

Thanks for attending Student Showcase with us this morning! It’s always special to see our community walk through the spaces where children spend their days discovering, concentrating, and growing.
