CMM 1- Fundamentals is kicking off next week at ALIC!

This course introduces the fundamentals of coordinate measuring machines (CMM) used in precision manufacturing inspection. Students will learn basic CMM operation, programming concepts, probe types, and how to perform simple part measurements to verify dimensional accuracy. Emphasis is on safe use, data collection, and interpretation of dimensional measurement reports.

What a great morning at ALIC!
Today we welcomed 75 local educators into the facility to explore our space, learn about our programs and hear from our friends at Me Again Boutique LLC and PRISM. Students have so many career and education pathways and part of our job is helping students find their unique fit.

A huge thank you goes out to Crawford County K-12 Career Education Alliance for creating opportunities for our educators!

Manufacturing month has been an awesome whirlwind so far and there is still a lot of month ahead! Follow our socials to see what we are up to all month long!

Last Wednesday our team spent the day connecting with over 2000 high school students from the region at MFG Day. Then used the evening to soak up some leadership insights from General James Mattis at the 121st Annual Event with hundreds of business leaders with the Manufacturer & Business Association . It is always encouraging to talk about the innovations and growth that is happening in the region with so many that make it happen!
