The Allegheny College Rotaract Club meets weekly on Saturdays from 4-5:30pm. Stay tune for our first meeting over zoom, coming soon!

Allegheny College Rotaract Club is an organization that works to develop and strengthen its members leadership and interpersonal skills, while also bringing the community of Meadville and Allegheny College together through service.

Meet Marissa Steury, our PR & Social Media Manager. She’s from St. Louis, Missouri.

She says “I joined Rotaract because outside of the school year, I volunteer at a number of non-profits mostly surrounding conversations around elderly food insecurity and elder abuse.”

Meet Gabrielle Tcaciuc, though people call her Gabi!! She’s our Communications Liaison and from Cleveland, Ohio.

She says “ I decided to join Rotaract because I enjoy getting to know people from different backgrounds and parts of the world. This club also serves as an opportunity to further develop my leadership and professional skills. Furthermore, I like how Rotaract emphasizes addressing global issues and how as a community, we can exchange ideas and find creative solutions. I hope to utilize this experience as a launching pad to an international career!”

She said “I joined Rotaract because I want more Allegheny College students to help the surrounding Meadville community. Along with witnessing how much it can benefit others.”

Meet Tyler Rippole, though everyone calls him Ty. He is Rotaract’s Treasurer from Wexford, PA!!
He says “I decided to join Rotaract with the intentions of giving back and making the community around me a better place in one way or another.”

Meet Jah’Farri Brown however most people just call him Jay. He’s Rotaract’s Vice President!! He’s from Orange, New Jersey.

He says “I decided to join Rotaract was because of the many opportunities that it seems to open for its members. It seems to give people the chance to create new relationships and bonds with others around them. Not only that, however I feel as though it will be very interesting to see the different activities that will be formed around the Meadville area. Also I believe that Rotaract shows its members what it truly means to be a leader not just for yourself however for the people around you as well.”

Meet Katie Perez, Rotaract’s President!! She’s from Boulder, Colorado and she joined Rotaract because “I believe in helping others and believe that this club's mission to help others through philanthropic projects was a great way to do that and help my community, not only on Allegheny’s campus or the City of Meadville but also at a global scale.”
