Class of 1981,
Thought this page would be a good place to let everyone who does not know, I was diagnosed with Kidney and liver cancer at the end of hunting season in 2023. After a second opinion the doctors at the Mayo the treatment plan was the same. They were not concerned about the kidney, the Liver Cancer was more important to take care of than the Kidney. There was only the option of Immunotherapy. Because of the location of the cancer in the portal vein the options for cryotheraparathy, radiation. and Transplant. were taken away. We started immunotherapy in early January of 2024. We had a problem with internal bleeding in March so we had to stop all blood thinners needed for blood clots. In mid April I developed jaundice. This was a sign of pushing the liver too far. The second opinion this time came from the U of M. As the oncologist there said my Liver was very sick to begin with. He gave me weeks to months to live. I am in at home hospice now.

Linda Ralidak just informed me about Anita! She wasn't in our class but we all knew her! She took her own life. I understand she suffered years of depression. So sad. I have no words.

Classmates. Please pray for Patty. I talked with her yesterday and she is not well. Serious health issues. Not C0vid. Has to do with her liver.

It is with great sadness I share this post. Our class has suffered a huge loss last weekend. Steve Linder passed away due to a heart issue. Please keep Vivian, the boys and entire Linder family in your prayers.

Due to the lack of response and talking to a few of our classmates we decided to not push for the reunion this year. For those that will be in town the weekend of the Meadowlands fair there will many T-M graduates there to visit with. Maybe we will see you then!

We've had some suggestions that maybe we just plan a get together at the Trailside the weekend of the Meadowlands Fair. Let me know if that would work for everyone. I know they will be extremely busy that weekend but we could talk with Jodi to see if we could do a dinner. The fair events will be going on all weekend. Any other suggestions???:

35 year class reunon update:
So far with the feedback I've received we are looking at August 27-29th. Those traveling far for a week or two vacation can either hit up the Meadowlands Fair the week before, or Labor Day weekend the week after! Looking at a casual get together for cocktails/snacks Friday night, Golf day/shopping/site seeing (your choice) on Saturday with a nice dinner somewhere. Then a bar-b-que on Sunday at Penni's lake place about 20 minutes from Bloomer. This is all if Penni & Matt approve. We have plenty of time to look at other things to do as well! First and foremost I think it's just important we have a great time catching up with all of you!!! Getting excited to see all that can attend!!
