Meadowbrook Musicademy

Meadowbrook Musicademy Meadowbrook Musicademy is a music school in Meadowbrook, WV. Instructors will offer lessons on a variety of instruments as well as voice at Jewel City Church.

Instruction is open to all ages but is focused more toward school age children. Carrie Hill and Janessa Wilson are joining together to open Meadowbrook Musicademy in the fall of 2021. Carrie is the worship pastor at Jewel City Church and has been on staff for 15 years. With a degree in music education she has a desire to mentor and encourage a younger generation to pursue musical learning and have

fun in the process. She has directed children's choirs and given private lessons over the years and is thrilled about the opportunity to team up with Janessa to open a brand new studio that will serve North Central WV. Janessa helps lead worship at Jewel City Church and is a key musician on the team, playing multiple instruments including violin and acoustic guitar. She has studied several areas of music through Berklee College of Music and has several years of experience teaching. She currently instructs students on violin, guitar, and piano, and she hopes to instill within her students a deep love for music that will last a lifetime. She is looking forward to Meadowbrook Musicademy playing an integral part in this process!

Good morning Meadowbrook Musicademy friends! We’d love to share an announcement with you that many have been asking about. For the past two years, we have hosted a week-long music camp for kids up to 6th grade. We have loved every second of spending a full week with all of our students learning new songs and instruments, playing games, competing with one another and just having a great time! This summer we will be taking a break from music camp to focus on some other things but we hope to be back next summer with an all new camp just for kids! Please help us spread the word by sharing and know that we will miss everyone this summer!

Meadowbrook Musicademy lessons will start back up this fall and we love to work in new students as we have spots come available. Feel free to reach out to us through messenger if you’d like to be put on a waitlist for the fall semester.

Hi friends! Janessa here! I have recently had some mid-semester changes happen to my schedule. My Thursday time at 5:00 and 5:30 is open. If anyone would be interested in picking up in the semester now, we could starts this week. There are 8 weeks remaining, and I would offer this at our regular 8 week semester price of $175/half hour. Hello friends! Janessa here! I suddenly have a couple openings for our spring semester.
Tuesdays at 2:00
Wednesdays at 3:00
Our spring term started this week, and it is a 12 week term with half hour lessons. The price for the semester is $250.
These openings are for piano, violin, or guitar.
The semester has started this week, so we would jump right into lessons!

While we are all still fully enjoying the is season, we know that the new year is just around the corner which also brings our winter semester! Good morning friends! We hope you are enjoying the last few weeks of summer! We’re getting ready for another great semester here at Meadowbrook Musicademy, and we can’t wait to dive into music with your kiddos!
