Surprise!! Jeannette missed the children so much that she decided to rescind her retirement! She’s gotten relicensed and has opened back up for preschool only on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30am to 1:30pm. If interested contact her at creativekids@pacbell(dot)net.

It’s official - Last Day of Creative Kids Preschool!

In the last 29 years our Child Care achieved twice NAFCC Nationally Accreditation and was honorably recognized by the California State Senate and the Placer County Superintendent of Schools for “Exemplary Child Care”.

It was exciting in 2008, when our program was chosen to be “Child Care Provider of the Week” by the PBS early childhood education TV show, “A Place of Our Own”. To our surprise, a shorter version of the interview aired that entire summer continuously throughout California as an example of “California’s Gold” on Public Television.

We loved being part of our local communities: For years the children painted business windows and supplied their art work for the local hospital’s Art Can Heal Galleries. For 25 years we built and entered unique floats annually into three local community parades - and won top honors for every entry! And proud to have hosted several Trike-a-Thon’s that generated over $30,000 in donations for St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Three local newspaper’s repeatedly published images of our preschool events: Santa visits, Easter Bunny and Leprechaun visits, field trips to Pumpkin Patches, summer outings to museums, State Parks, Historic buildings/landmarks, local sites and numerous businesses and artist studios.

For 29 years we remained at full capacity and gave loving quality cared to over 600 children. We are proud and thrilled to say a large number of those preschool alumni graduated with high school honors/cords, graduated college, and are now highly successful adults. We’ve even had a few alumni children’s children enroll the last few years… we were truly humbled and honored to teach a second generation.

With all that said and done, we are with heavy hearts retiring. We will without a doubt miss all the young smiling faces, and want to thank all the parents and the community for supporting us these past 29 years - it was a wonderful adventure filled with love, laughter, songs, dancing and a few tears… Thank You!

We had a account with Shutterfly to make end-of-year photo albums for the kids like many many years ago. On occasion, somehow, a few photos just pop up in our email “From 14 years ago”. What a wonderful stroll down memory lane… got a giggle out these dress up antics!! They are all grown-up young ladies and gentlemen today!!
