Appealing for more financial aid will include presenting the college financial aid office with adequate documentation of special circumstances that affect you and your family’s ability to pay for college. You can appeal for more financial aid at any time you need it.

The worst that can happen is they will say no. To increase your chances for successful financial aid appeal, be sure to inquire with the school about their process and understand what exactly you need to provide.

Be sure to include all appropriate documentation and don’t forget to follow up!
