Attention parents and guardians, starting today TCMS will be using Edia AI Attendance Assistant to help us with student attendance. It is a quick and easy way for the school to contact parents about student absences and allow parents to communicate back with doctor's excuses and other pertinent information about the absence.

For this to be effective, It is important that we have your correct contact information in PowerSchool. If your phone number has changed recently, please call the TCMS Office at 229-868-7465 and ask for Mrs. Purvis so that she can update your info in PowerSchool.

It’s been a great start to the 2026-2027 school year at TCMS! Mrs. Williams’s students completed a puzzle challenge designed to build communication and collaboration skills. Each round had a different rule that challenged students to work together, problem-solve, listen, and communicate in different ways. A fun start to learning how to work successfully as a team this year!

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible support our community has shown for the Teacher Wellness Room at Telfair County Middle School!

What started as a dream to create a peaceful place where our teachers and staff could pause, breathe, recharge, and take care of themselves has become a reality because of the generosity of so many amazing people.

To every business, organization, community member, and staff member who has donated, purchased something, or simply encouraged us: THANK YOU! Your kindness means more than you know.

Every comfortable chair, calming decoration, snack, diffuser, light, and thoughtful donation represents something much bigger: a reminder to our teachers and staff that they are valued, appreciated, and cared for.

Our teachers spend their days pouring into our students, and we wanted them to have a space where they can step away for a moment, breathe deeply, and refill their cups. We truly believe that when we take care of the people who take care of our children, everyone benefits.

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU for helping us create a space where our teachers can rest, recharge, and feel appreciated.

The Telfair County School District would like to thank all responding law enforcement agencies for their prompt response. All buildings have been cleared and normal operations have resumed.

We look forward to seeing everyone at Open House tomorrow.
