It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we say goodbye to a true community treasure, Lucky Kidd.

For years, Lucky was the brilliant mastermind and the enthusiastic heart behind the beloved All Schools Day Medallion Hunt. To Lucky, the hunt wasn’t just a game; it was a beautiful way to weave excitement throughout McPherson County. Every clever clue and carefully mapped-out hiding spot was crafted with pure joy and a desire to make our community smile.

Lucky’s passion for All Schools Day and dedication to keeping our shared history alive left a mark on us all. While the clever riddles may fall silent, the warmth, humor, and spirit Lucky poured into this community will live on every time we look back on those adventures.

Thank you, Lucky, for the countless memories and the thrilling chases. You will be deeply and greatly missed.

A Note from Your 2026 All Schools Day Co-Chairs 🇺🇸✨

That’s a wrap on the 113th annual McPherson County All Schools Day! Seeing the community come together for our "Star Spangled Celebration" was truly the highlight of our year.

From the energy at the Carnival to the Incredible Floats in the parade, we are so proud to be a part of this long standing county wide tradition and so grateful to be a part of a community that celebrates with such passion. We want to extend a massive thank you to our hardworking board members, volunteers, and sponsors, this event wouldn't be possible without your tireless dedication!

Pappy’s Camels made it to town and is completely set up to start giving rides!

They’ll be at Park School in McPherson (intersection of Oak and Marlin) today, Thursday and Friday.

Rides will be given for $10/ea or $38 for 4 from 10:00am-dark each day!

New Location: McPherson High School Auditorium

Time: 7:00 PM

Admission: ASD Button Required

Come out and support the incredible students of McPherson County as they showcase their talents through music, dance, and more! We'll see you in the dry and comfortable auditorium.
