Sometimes you have a few extra minutes in class…

A few years ago, our amazing McPherson Middle School PTO did a board game drive and helped fill our classrooms with games that teachers can pull out during those unexpected extra minutes.

It’s more than just a way to fill time! Board games give students an opportunity to laugh, interact, problem-solve, practice teamwork, and build connections with their classmates and teachers.

Sometimes the best moments of learning happen when we slow down and simply play together.

So thankful for a PTO that recognizes that connection matters!

We are incredibly grateful for Mrs. Bowers, who has taken on a special project to support our MMS students.

For the past several years, Mrs. Bowers has worked to make sure students who have periods have access to the supplies they need at school. This is especially important in middle school, when students are still learning to navigate these experiences and may feel embarrassed, anxious, or unsure of what to do.

Our goal is simple: make sure students have access to necessary supplies in our MMS restrooms so they can take care of their needs without unnecessary anxiety or time out of class.

We’d love your help keeping our restrooms stocked!
