What a fantastic first week back at McPherson Alternative Center! Our students embraced new experiences, adjusted to bell-to-bell cell phone policies, explored new classrooms, and warmly welcomed new faces. Their commitment to building relationships within the classroom truly stood out. We're thrilled to celebrate their efforts today and announce that all students met 100% of their goals through Edgenuity by Thursday afternoon! We can't wait to see what the coming weeks will bring. Here's to a great year!

MHS PTO would like to provide snacks for the Teacher and Staff Back to School Workday and Training. This will be held at the McPherson High School on August 14th. If you would be able to provide snacks for this event, please sign up below. Snacks can be dropped off before 2pm in the McPherson High School office on August 12th & 13th. Or feel free to contact MHS PTO-McPherson High School for arrangements on pickup! If you are unable to pick up items, there is a Venmo option.

Every month, students are nominated by their peers and selected by the McPherson Alternative Center administration based on academic effort, citizenship, and other achievements. Levi and Aaron were each recognized with a certificate of accomplishment and a $10 gift card to The Locker Room Nutrition & Energy.

🎓✨ A heartfelt farewell to our Class of 2026 at the Senior Luncheon and End-of-Year Celebration! 🎉 A special thanks to our amazing underclassmen for their help in preparation and the delicious contributions.

The event featured a build-your-own-pasta bar, and we proudly showcased handprints on our Graduate Wall, a tradition dating back to 2013. This year is particularly special as it marks our final chapter in the MAC building, paving the way for our exciting transition to new facilities. The bittersweet emotions of saying goodbye to the familiar while embracing the unknown made this memory truly unique.

Our seniors loved their gift bags, especially the mini tape measurer + screwdriver kits and fun bubble keychains.
