ECS Alumni are invited to the home soccer game at 5:00 p.m. and volleyball games at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 21. Alumni will get into the games for free and will be entered into a drawing for an Amazon Gift Card and a Freddy's basket. This is also Senior Night for volleyball, so come join the celebration!

Congratulations to Abby Ediger, Class of 2020, on her new position at the Hesston EMS Division. Abby is currently a student at Hesston College and is pursuing her EMT certification. Way to go Abby!

A huge shout out to Josef Hobson, 2021 ECS grad! Josef won a video scholarship competition with Christensen Law in Michigan for his Distracted Driving video. Congrats, Joe!

Congratulations to Josef, Wichita State University freshman, on winning our 2021 $1,500 Distracted Driving Scholarship Contest! Our entire team was captivated by his ability to visually convey such an impactful message. His video (shared in a separate post and on our website) evoked chills and was described by voters as powerful, creative, and cinematic. 📽️😮

We would like to thank all of our talented entrants for their effort and advocacy! ❤️ Your videos helped us achieve our goal of spreading awareness about the dangers associated with distracted, drunk, and/or impaired driving. ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT: We are so proud of Darian Trost (2015) who recently had the privilege to share an overview of the whole bible at the Kanakuk Institute. "We live in a broken and sinful world who desperately needs the love of Jesus. God desires our obedience and we need to submit to Him daily," Darian shared. Her desire to share God with others led her to write a children’s book for parents/guardians to use to help walk children through the Bible. Congratulations to Zach Stucky, Elyria Christian High School senior, who has been named a 2021 National Merit Scholarship semifinalist. Over 1.5 million juniors in approximately 21,000 high schools entered the 2021 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the 2019 PSAT last October. Semifinalists represent the top one percent of seniors in each state. Way to go, Zach!
