🛒📦 National Box Tops Week is live, and we have a goal to crush!

Right now, we are sitting at $375.40 toward our $1,000 school goal. Every single receipt scanned between today and Sunday (Oct 18) earns DOUBLE POINTS for Lincoln Elementary, counting directly toward our upcoming December payout check!
By completing these quick scans this week, we can easily push our earnings across the finish line for our students.

🚚📚 Everything you need to know for night one of conferences!
We have an exciting lineup ready for our Lincoln families today! Between visiting teachers and shopping the book fair, we’ve got your family's dinner plans covered right outside the school.

Here is your checklist for tonight:
• 🚚 Dinner on Site: Tortas Mary is parked right outside from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM serving up delicious meals!
• 🏫 Parent-Teacher Conferences: Running from 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM inside the school.
• 📚 Scholastic Book Fair: Open in the library starting at 3:30 PM. Note: The book fair closes at 7:00 PM (30 minutes before conferences end), so don't wait to go take a look! Be sure to check out the teacher wishlists while you're there to help grow our classroom libraries! 📖✨

We are so excited to invite all of our Lincoln families, staff, and friends to the American Legion Family Dinner Night!

⏰ When: Thursday, October 15th from 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM
🎟️ Tickets: Just $6 each!

Every ticket purchased goes directly to supporting our Lincoln Elementary PTO, helping us fund classroom needs, teacher appreciation, and special student programs. It’s the perfect way to grab a great meal, connect with other caregivers, and show our kiddos how much this community stands behind them.

📣 Huge shoutout to the McPherson College Women’s Soccer team! ⚽️❤️

It is truly so sweet to see these amazing student-athletes giving back! The team took time out of their busy schedules to help brighten our space by freshening up our sensory paths and sidewalk paint right by the playground equipment.

By building upon our community's hard work and bringing their vibrant energy to our playground, these Bulldogs are showing everyone what it truly means to live like a lion and build a lasting legacy together.

The Lincoln Elementary PTO is excited to host the incredible Tortas Mary food truck outside the school on Monday, Oct. 12 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM! All families are welcome—come hungry!

🏫 Full Conference Week Schedule:
• Monday, Oct. 12: 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM (Food Truck Night! 🚚)
• Tuesday, Oct. 13: 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM

✨ SEPTEMBER FOOD DRIVE WINNERS ANNOUNCED! ✨
A HUGE ROAR goes out to Mrs. Barreiro’s class for absolutely crushing the competition and winning the September Food Drive! 🦁🏆 Enjoy your well-deserved donut party! 🍩🎉

But guess what, Lions? A brand new month means the competition resets RIGHT NOW for October! Let’s keep that incredible Lincoln energy going and fill our outside pantry to help support our amazing community! 💙💛

🥫 HOW TO JOIN THE OCTOBER COMPETITION:
We are looking for Non-Perishables and Bagged Meals (a complete, shelf-stable meal that fits inside a 1-gallon Ziploc or plastic bag!).
As shown in our graphics, there are 2 ways to earn points for your classroom this month:

* 🥫 Single Items = 1 Point
* 🎒 Bagged Meals = DOUBLE POINTS! ⚡️ (Please include recipe instructions inside the bag so families know how to prepare it!)

🗓️ DEADLINE TO TURN IN:

* Send donations to school with your student anytime throughout the month. 🎒
* All items must be turned in by the end of October to count toward your classroom's total!

✨ TODAY IS THE DAY, LIONS! ✨ Today is the due date for our fundraiser! 🦁💛💙

We have until the end of the day today to get those final donations turned in. Let’s make one last big push to achieve our goals for our campus, including playground improvements, safety, and beautification projects! ⚽️🌳🌼🏫

As you can see in the graphic, our online donations have officially reached an incredible $2,270! 🚀 We are completely blown away and so deeply grateful for the massive wave of support from our families and community. Let’s finish strong! 💪🎉

☀️✨ MORE SUNSHINE FOR OUR LIONS! ✨☀️ The Sunshine Cart took a different form today, but it brought an absolute BIG dose of love to our Lincoln staff thanks to the wonderful Kevin & Tammie Stockham! 💛🙌

Instead of our usual rolling cart, they set up an incredible Heartbeat Coffee bar ☕️❤️ and provided freshly homemade cookies 🍪 right in the lounge! You two seriously know how to bring the smiles and fuel our day! 🥰

We are SO incredibly thankful for the amazing community members who continue to show up, wrap their arms around our teachers, and help us keep the Sunshine Cart spirit rolling with love and appreciation! ☀️🦁💙💛

Thank you, Kevin & Tammie, for your incredible generosity and for spreading a little extra sunshine at Lincoln today! ☀️✨

The Scholastic Book Fair gets kids excited about reading and earns funds for our school.
