McPherson was well represented at the Kansas Music Teachers Association Conference this weekend!

We had a great time connecting with music teachers from all over the state, and learned lots of new things to incorporate into our teaching.

We also got to be inspired by wonderful music from the guest artist, masterclasses, and commissioned composer performances!

Wesley is off to a great start - he came in for his first lesson of the school year and was all ready to jump into a new book! 👏 So we moved up from Piano Pronto Movement 1 to Movement 2. 🥳

It’s Summertime in the piano studio, which means all continuing students are working on writing original music! The pieces have been shaping up over the past several weeks and we’re just starting to type up the notation in lessons.
