Big news from AMA! 🎉

Ember Carmichael (pictured with teacher Kelli Wright) has been accepted into the Pre-Professional Track of Joffrey Ballet School's NYC Musical Theater Intensive — an elite, invitation-only program in New York City designed for advanced students aspiring to careers on Broadway.

Two weeks of intensive training, master workshops, private vocal coaching, and mentorship from Broadway pros are on the summer schedule. This kind of acceptance reflects years of dedicated work — from a student who shows up ready, and from a teacher who knows how to bring out the best. Congratulations, Ember! 🌟

We are proud to announce that Freddy Medina has joined our faculty. A distinguished educator with a Master of Music Education from Carnegie Mellon University, Freddy currently serves the Pittsburgh Public Schools and brings a wealth of experience as an accompanist and researcher.

His unique expertise as a countertenor allows him to offer specialized vocal guidance alongside his classical piano instruction, making him a versatile mentor for students of all ages.

Registration for our 2026 Summer Camps at Anderson Music Academy is officially OPEN! From beginners picking up an instrument for the first time to seasoned players ready to join a band, we have a camp for every age and skill level, ages 5-18!
