Hands down, the BEST part of my day today was attending the Unified Prom. There is so much goodness happening in our community and THIS was a perfect example. Kids showing up for kids with absolute joy. The future is bright with these humans leading us.

Emily and Tim Duerfeldt have been powerhouse volunteers at Wascher Elementary for over a decade. What incredible people to spend countless hours ensuring kids have food for the weekend! Thank you to the city and mayor for recognizing them!

Last night was really inspiring. This room was filled with county wide educators, counselors and community partners to talk about how we continue to meet the changing needs of our students and families in a coordinated effort.

Grateful for Rotary Club of McMinnville who recognize our students each month at their noon club meeting. These two future civil servants are planning careers in law enforcement and fire fighting. Our future is bright in this community!
