Grateful for our Chamber and the ways they support our community. Let’s 🌱together!
I Belong: Dr. Kourtney Ferrua, D.Ed.
Strong communities are built through connection.
That's why Dr. Kourtney Ferrua, Superintendent of the McMinnville School District, values being part of the McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce.
Serving nearly 6,000 students and their families, Kourtney sees firsthand how businesses, schools, and community organizations all play a role in creating opportunities for the next generation.
"The Chamber provides an opportunity to build relationships, better understand the needs of our local business community, and create partnerships that help prepare students for their futures while strengthening the McMinnville area as a whole."
Through connections made within the Chamber, the district has expanded partnerships that provide students with career exploration opportunities, work-based learning experiences, mentorships, and community support for school programs.
For Kourtney, belonging means being part of something bigger than any one organization.
"It means working together to create a community where businesses can succeed, families can thrive, and young people have opportunities to build meaningful futures."
That's the power of Chamber membership. It brings together leaders from across our community to build relationships, create opportunities, and strengthen McMinnville for everyone.
“I belong because I believe our community is strongest when schools, businesses, and families work together to support one another and invest in the future."
