The McMinnville School District is aware of concerns that have been raised regarding programming that occurred during the parent sponsored and organized Grad Night event following graduation.

Over the weekend, we received emails and other feedback regarding an activity that was included as part of the event's entertainment. We recognize that the activity has generated concern among some members of our community.

Grad Night is organized and operated by parent and community volunteers and is not a district-sponsored event. District staff do not oversee event programming or make decisions regarding activities that take place during the event. We are exploring developing procedures to approve activities for future events.

Because many families associate Grad Night with graduation and our schools, our District has reached out to the event coordinators to learn more.

Our focus remains on supporting students and families and celebrating the accomplishments of all of our students.. We are grateful to the many volunteers who dedicate their time each year to providing graduates with a supervised, substance-free celebration following commencement.

Class of 2026 Parade of Graduates! Come celebrate with the graduates as they head off to the All Night Grad Party! Here is the planned route- leaving Patton, headed to 3rd street then off to the party!! The parade will tentatively start around 10pm! Watch for updates here telling you when the busses leave Patton!

Every school across our district is serving Farm to School produce from incredible Oregon growers.

Students are able to enjoy juicy pears from Duckwall Farms in Hood River and sweet strawberries from South Barlow Berry Farm in Canby. By partnering with local farms, we’re bringing fresh flavors to our cafeterias while supporting Oregon agriculture and helping students connect with where their food comes from.
