Craving a little chocolate this week? Did you know you can make 'gourmet' truffles from only a few ingredients in under 30 minutes? We taught our students the tricks a few years ago, but it's never too late to learn. This recipe makes a basic but luxurious chocolate ganache truffle recipe, made using ordinary dark chocolate chips from the supermarket! These are rich and creamy and a great base to add flavorings of choice.

Classic , easy chocolate truffles recipe (chocolate ganache truffle) using melted dark chocolate melts. Wonderful after dinner treat or for gifting.

Need ideas for what to do with all of those pumpkins? Put the pumpkin in STEM. For example:
Pumpkin Pressure: Have students hypothesize how many rubber bands it takes to explode a pumpkin (hint: it's a lot!) Wrap rubber bands around a pumpkin until it bursts, demonstrating pressure and its effects. Take it farther by testing different fruits.
