Hi Sue Buel Huskies!
It is time for our annual Jog-A-Thon! This year our Jog-A-Thon will be held on Friday, September 26th (Thursday, September 25th for Pre-K and 4th grade classes). Please help us raise money for the PTA for things such as field trips, assemblies, playground equipment, and teacher supplies.
Your child already received an envelope to collect cash and check donations. The money tracking sheet will be sent home this Tuesday in Husky Folders! You can write your child's name, teacher, and all of their pledges on that tracking sheet so we can keep track of who raises the most money.
There is also an online platform we will be using to make electronic donations! Use the link to go to 99pledges to make an online donation. Once on the website, search your child's teacher in the search bar, click on it, and choose how much you would like to donate! Share the link with friends and family all over so we can meet our goal! Be sure to say who the donation is for in the notes so we can keep track of what student/class raised the most money! The student that raises the most money will get to be principal for a day! The class that raises the most money will win a class party and if we meet our goal of $10,000 as a school we will earn an all school mystery assembly!

Husky Fair is next Friday, May 30th from 6-8pm and we can’t wait to see all of you there!
The PTA will be serving dinner this year, so come hungry! Pizza and Hot Dog meals will be sold for only $5, and we will have a concession stand.
We still need lots of volunteers, so please sign up below. This event takes a lot of hands!

Lots of fun last week with the Book Fair opening, Literacy night, and an assembly with the final round of Battle Of The Books.

Penny Wars have started! Let the fun begin!
This fundraiser requires counting a lot of coins 😬 If any parents have time at 8:15am on Fridays until Penny Wars is over, we could really use your help!

Here are some pictures of the fun things we were able to do for our students and staff this month ♥️

We decorated the school lobby, common area, and staff lounge. We hosted and sponsored the Wreath Fundraiser, Craft Night, and Holiday Market, and showered our wonderful staff with gifts to show our appreciation of all the hard work the put in for our kids ♥️

Thank you Bernards Farm for donating pumpkins to our whole school. Students have had a blast decorating their pumpkins before taking them home.

First ever Glow Bash Spooktacular 2024 was a hit! Thank you, to all the families who came and hung out! The kids looked like they had a lot of fun🧡🧡
