We have been so blessed to have our very own “Julia Wade Looper” stepped in when we needed her so badly.
She came in to sub for Prek3 Class when our teacher had an emergency medical leave.
To say she knocked it out of the ballpark would be an understatement! She has taken the classroom and transformed it into a calm, warm and welcoming environment for our little students!
She has transitioned the students from Prek2 to Prek3 and they have thrived under her leadership! She is an amazing teacher.

Mrs Taylor will be returning on Tuesday after Labaor Day and our students will be so happy to see her. She stopped by one morning and spent a little while visiting with them.

Children are so resilient and they adjust so much more quickly than adults do. They don’t require much. Love, respect and guidance to help them learn!

Our sweet Julia will be back this week for some part time phasing in. To help with Mrs Taylor’s transition back! We love and appreciate her so much and she is truly the best of the best!

We have had the best week!! Finishing out August and reviewing before we begin our curriculum and start this year off full force!

This month was All About Me, Friendship, Apples and reviewing letters, colors, shapes, and, numbers!

We are so blessed at Mustard Seed Preschool with the very BEST staff and. Teachers, students and families!!

It is a work of love and we never lose sight of our blessings!!

Two every sweet friends spent their last days with us this week! It was so bittersweet!

When they come to us as babies (2years old) they make friends. Move through classrooms, teachers, they become our family!! We become their family!
That makes saying goodbye hard!

I tell them once a Mustard Seed you are always a Mustard Seed. They are tiny when they come to us and we try to help them grow to be strong!

This is extra bittersweet for me Betty is my granddaughter. One of the greatest blessing has been in having her and her brother Webb here with me at Mustard Seed! She has really made me so proud.

We just love the beginning of the school year!

We have a lot of new things! New classrooms, new friends, different teacher!! Lots of growing and changing!!

Our Theme as Administration is “Keep it Simple”!
We have goals, plans and lots of activities and excitement planned for the 2026-2027 school year.

This week was Welcome Back and All About Me. We had a great week!!

We had our last meeting with the State and we made a 97!! We also had the Fire Marshall come and passed!

Now on to getting this school year rolling!!

What a FUN week!!! The end of summer and what better way than to end it with a visit from the Fire Department for our last water day!

Once again Water Day is the best!!! Our precious students love water day. We hope you enjoy the pictures!

***we will NOT have water day since we will be closed Friday in observance of July 4th Holiday.

We will be closed July 6-10
For summer vacation.

We will see everyone on Monday, July 13th.
We hope everyone has a great summer break.
