Happy Juneteenth! Our office will be closed today to observe Juneteenth. This day commemorates a pivotal moment in American history. On June 19, 1865, enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas, learned of their freedom—over two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed. Juneteenth marks the end of slavery in the United States and is a time to honor the strength, resilience, and enduring spirit of Black communities.
