•GUITAR LESSONS (Electric/Acoustic). If you (or your kid) have been wanting to learn, now’s a great time to start. Any age is welcome, it’s never too early or too late to pick up a guitar!

We offer levels BEGINNER to ADVANCED. (All ages).

AREAS OF ADVANCED STUDY:
•Theory & Harmony: Mastering modes (modes, melodic minor), extended chord harmony, chord substitutions, etc.

• Technique: Developing tapping, speed and precision.

• Improvisation & Ear Training: Training the ear to play what you hear, understanding fretboard visualization, and melodic development.

•Genre Specialization: Deep dives into jazz (chordal improv), pop, rock, country, blues, classical, and flamenco.

We also offer ukulele lessons for all ages (and many more instruments!!)

The Songbird Chromatic Dulcimer is a full-size hammered dulcimer and is known for its versatility and stability, featuring 16 treble strings (courses) and 15 bass strings (courses), allowing for a fullly chromatic scale across its range. It’s a beautiful instrument which comes with a stand, a case for storing snd transporting, hammers, tunina wrench, plus music book and original letter describing the instrument.

❄️WINTER RECITAL (Part Two). This weekend was Mac Music Academy’s Winter Recital and we couldn’t be more proud of all of our students! We had such an amazing turnout, we hosted two separate recital performances over the weekend. For our Saturday afternoon recital, we wish to thank Church on the Hill - McMinnville, OR for the use of their beautiful auditorium and Richard Lee for running sound.
