Focusing on the important stuff that will get you playing fast, and leaving out a whole lot of the formality of traditional piano training is what I like to get young students started on from day 1. All the rote technique exercises can come later if applicable, but nurturing the artist within, from the beginning and the realization that one CAN play a song is KEY to success and longevity of playing on any instrument. Establishing long term VISION and CREATIVITY above all is essential. 🖤✨
