This Friday is a workshop on paper-mache workshop. It's not so much a class as it is a focused workshop where the materials will be available or you can come watch and ask questions. I intend to be starting a large project and will be there to assist you and help with materials. Bring your ideas and let's create!

A few of us here at the lab have been collaborating on a project to make these plaster molds so we can slip cast some forms and make mugs as merchandise. There's been plenty of trouble shooting and learning curves, but each step closer is very rewarding. Stay tuned to see the final products that come from this!

All costs were included in your class fee, so pop in and paint it up. Avery is at the lab Tuesdays 4:30pm - 8:00pm to let you in and help you get started!
Woah! I haven’t posted anything lately about AZBL goings-on! We have classes coming up for Mad Science 101 in April and a monthly ‘Creatures Feature Friday’ which will be an open workshop for a specific material (paper mache, beading, painting, 3D printing, etc) where a featured creative will be in the lab working on a project. You can come and observe or ask questions or start your own project. Observing is free of charge, though there will be materials fees if you would like to participate. Our first Creature Feature will focus on articulated mask making using paper mache, which I (Matt) will be hosting. Check our calendar for more info!
