Baggy shorts 🤝 Big hair
Our students and staff showed off their incredible creativity today! Students arrived in signature Adam Sandler comfort—oversized shirts, shorts, and cozy vibes. 🩳 Meanwhile, our amazing teachers channeled the legendary Dolly Parton with 9 to 5 (9/25) glamour, boots, and sparkle! 💖
Thank you to everyone who participated and made today so fun for our school community!

Congratulations to Chloe Stout our September Leading Lion!

Ms. Stout goes above and beyond every day. She redesigned her classroom this year to create a
more engaging setting. She started interactive notebooks for her students so they can be laptop free during class. The cast of Shrek is already hard at work to deliver the best musical yet at Dowell Middle School! Great job, Ms. Stout! Thank you for all you do for our Lions!

School picture retake day is Friday, September 18th during all grade level lunches.

SchoolPix Inc. will be taking pictures of any students who were absent on picture day and all newly enrolled students. For students who pre-purchased pictures on the original picture day and would like a retake, please fill out the retake form at www.schoolpixinc.com/retakerequest. Print and return the retake request form to the photographer on retake day. Please remember that retakes are taken during your student's lunch period. Original packages must be returned to the photographer on retake day in order to receive a replacement package. If you have not received your package by retake day, please indicate that on the form. Your student's original school picture image is available online for viewing prior to retake day.

For questions regarding pre-orders and retakes, please contact SchoolPix at 972-334-9140 or at [email protected].

Haven't viewed your original photos?

A form was sent home with your child on picture day in August which provided his/her personal QR access code. To view/order, please go to order.schoolpixinc.com and enter your child's access code. If this information did not make it home with your student, please go to www.schoolpixinc.com/accesscode and we would be happy to send it to you.

The Dowell MS August 2026 Leading Lion is our technology specialist Michael Falcon.

Michael works his magic and keeps our campus running smoothly. He has an amazing knowledge of technology and is always ready to use his expertise to solve problems and support our staff and students. Beyond his technical skills, Michael brings a funny, dry sense of humor that adds a little extra personality to our campus. He fits right in with the Dowell team.
