Vu's Martial Arts

Alright everyone it’s been a long time coming! 16 years in the making. I was supposed to test for my 6th degree back in 2016, but as most of you know. I pivoted and Mastered Wing Chun instead. Master Powell has convinced me to Test for my 6th degree with him while he tests for 7th. Despite my groin injury! So I’m going to need all the prayers and well wishes I can get! As I cram for this test!!! This is a great time for your students to compete in the last tournament of our calendar year! And then after the tournament! You get to watch me and Master Powell test! Sign ups for this tournament will be a little different this time. All sign ups will be through Miss Ashlea in the office. Have the number of competitors ready as well as spectators so that Miss Ashlea can register everyone and take care of payment. The earlier we can do this. The sooner we’ll get an accurate schedule of the tournament. Master Powell thinks there might be about 400 competitors for this one! So gear up! And let’s end the tournament season with Gold medals!

FIRST AND MOST IMPORTANTLY! ALL GLORY TO OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST! WITHOUT HIM I WOULD NOT BE THE MAN I AM TODAY! Words cannot express how deeply Proud I am of all of our students! Team USA as a whole had 16 VMA students on the Team. And I had the honor of coaching and leading the Junior Boys team(6 players comprised of 3 different schools). We lead an uphill battle but through Prayer! Hard work and determination! We came out with multiple wins! Just with VMA and Adding the Junior boys team! Our metal count was 28 metals! 14 of those being GOLD! Every Vu’s Student metaled!!!!!! Rockwall Black belt academy was the other half of our winning team and there are multiple metals there! As well as Blackbelts from Iowa, Louisiana, and Prospers Texas! Vus Martial Arts continues to be the Best Premier Martial Arts school for McKinney Texas! Now 20+years in Business! Adding to our knowledge base and experience in the international circuit! I can’t wait to see where GOD takes us next!!! A Deep! Honor and Appreciation for Master Robert Powell of Rockwall Blackbelt academy for bringing me along on this journey and trusting me to help coach! Especially with the Boys team. I pray that the next time we go across the pond!!! I will be even more of an asset to him and to Team USA! 🇺🇸 ❤️

What I’m most proud of during this amazing experience! That my Daughter and Future son in law continue to keep Christ at the center of their lives! Miss Lexie Talking to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ giving him all the Glory! Garrett calming the nerves of not only himself, but his Team mate connecting to God through Prayer!
