My Bilingual Tot

My Bilingual Tot We offer stimulating and interactive Spanish classes for children. We also offer private tutoring for all ages. Learning Spanish is fun!! ¡Hola! Gracias.

Bienvenidos a My Bilingual Tot. I am so excited to share with you my passion of teaching Spanish. A little bit about me...

My name is Betsy Vergara Strawn. I was born and raised in Miami, Fl. My mom is Puerto Rican and My dad is Colombian. I grew up in a 100% Spanish household. I decided to become a Spanish Teacher and graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor's degree in Spanish. I am currently a middle school Spanish Teacher in Birdville ISD. I teach beginners and native speakers. The reason why I decided to start My Bilingual Tot is because I was shocked at the lack of foreign language opportunities out there for my 5 year old. My son will be starting kindergarten next year and no Spanish is offered at the elementary level. Language acquisition is important in today's world. The younger you start, the better! Please message me and I will answer any questions you have :).

🌟 Exciting News from My Bilingual Tot! 🌟

We are moving from Trophy Club to the Melissa/McKinney area! 🏡📚

Starting this September, we will be offering Spanish tutoring in Melissa, McKinney and the surrounding areas. And for those who prefer or need it, we will also be available via Zoom! 💻✏️

As we say goodbye to Trophy Club, we want to thank all of our wonderful students and families—we will miss you dearly. But we are thrilled to meet new students in Melissa & McKinney and continue our language journey together!

Accepting new students just in time for the beginning of the school year. 🎒✨

¡Hasta luego, Trophy Club! 👋

🌟Introducing our new summer teacher Miss Olivia! 🌟 Olivia and I have worked together for over 5 years in Birdville ISD. Prior to her moving to the US, she was a teacher in Monterrey, Mexico for 12 years. Her heart for children and passion for teaching is unmatched. We are so excited to start our summer sessions next week ❤️.

🗣 It’s important to get dialogue in!! We can learn to conjugate a verb but if we don’t practice speaking it and using it in real world scenarios, it’s pointless. So proud of these kiddos for identifying the correct conjugation and reading it out loud in class 👏🏻
