Finch Elementary

Finch Elementary Welcome to F***y Finch Elementary School! We are a Title 1, bilingual campus serving 460 students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade.

F***y Finch Elementary School is a neighborhood elementary school that is located within walking distance of historic downtown McKinney. The campus was built in 1939 by the Works Progress Administration, so it is not unusual for students to have parents, or even grandparents, who attended Finch. Our motto, “The Finch Way: Every Child, Every Day”, reflects the commitment of the Finch staff to create an environment that advances meaningful learning for every child, every day. Daily innovative and engaging instruction is designed to prepare Finch students to be positive leaders and contributing members of society. At Finch, we are committed to fostering a school culture that encourages students, teachers, staff, parents and community members to work collaboratively to promote the learning and achievement.
