I grew up in a broken home.

Like many of you reading this post statistically speaking you may have grown up in a broken home as well.

The effects of a broken home last a lifetime.

It does not take long to look across the cultural landscape and see the consequences of a cracked family foundation.

There is a different way and we must contend to restore the foundation of what God designed and intended from the beginning.

I am choosing to steward my household in a way that is different. Every day is a choice. Every day you must put on battle gear that protects, defends, and fights for a new way.

Every day you must put in the work to build a solid house.

I work to have a marriage that is amazing.

I work to raise girls that are kind and wholehearted.

I work to put Christ at the center.

I work to make sure we have meals at the table together.

I work to be involved in and coach all of my girl's basketball teams.

You can choose to put in the work as well.

You are a steward of your household and you will be held accountable.

Looking for men and families who are seeking a new way and willing to build a family that reflects bringing a slice of heaven closer to earth.

The number one thing that sets stewards apart from owners is a tenacious spirit to bring heaven closer to earth.

May you be bold like a lion and gentle as a lamb today as you a steward everything under your care.

God is in no particular hurry to get you to your ‘Promised Land.’

Who your are becoming is his transformational desire along the journey for your good and his glory.

Seeking the will of God this year in your leadership?

Practice a posture of indifference when making key decisions.

Often times personal leadership, families, or teams have a preferred outcome to a decision that is already in place and then we casually ask God to be with us in our decision.

What if instead we let go?

The prayer of indifference signals to your ego or attachment to your preferred outcome that you want nothing more and nothing less to follow God’s path.

This requires time, space, and attention to listening to the movement of God.

Only after we have become indifferent then we can know we are in alignment with his kingdom.

May you seek to live with open hands 🤲 in your personal and professional leadership decisions.

The world has sold us a lie that we are owners and an owners mindset keeps us bound to this earth.

The mindset of a steward keeps our gaze upon eternal decision.

God has entrusted as managers of everything that he has give us or known as stewards.

How do we enter the year as faithful stewards and become the men and women whom God can entrust the care of his Kingdom?
