Every classroom center has a purpose. From the block area to the art table, each space is intentionally designed to help children grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically, and academically.

Play is how young children make sense of the world.

When children build, pretend, paint, explore, and ask questions, they're developing language, problem-solving, creativity, self-control, and friendships. At Sprouts, play has purpose.

Today many students in our community begin a new school year.

We are praying for every child, teacher, administrator, bus driver, and family as they begin a new season. May classrooms be filled with kindness, wisdom, patience, and joy.

If your child feels nervous about school, that's okay. If you feel emotional too, that's okay. New beginnings bring big feelings, and we're honored to walk alongside your family through them.

Try giving your preschooler one simple responsibility each day, carrying their backpack, putting dishes in the sink, or helping set the table. Small responsibilities build confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging.
