Students and families can connect with colleges and universities, employers and career programs, military representatives, financial aid resources, and MEF College Advisors to ask questions and start planning their next step.

What a great day for McKinney ISD educators! 📝🍎

Thanks to the generosity of McKinney ISD Superintendent Shawn Pratt, two brand new McKinney ISD teachers each received a $500 Classroom Grant through the McKinney Education Foundation to help kickstart their classrooms.

Our CEO, Karen Walker, had the honor of presenting the grants alongside longtime MEF supporters Lynn Sperry and Amy Dankel. It was a special moment to celebrate and welcome new teachers to McKinney ISD.

When leaders invest in educators, students benefit too. These grants give teachers the resources they need to create meaningful learning experiences from the very beginning of the school year.

A special thank you to Superintendent Shawn Pratt for supporting our teachers and helping make these grants possible.

This October, we're honored to welcome Pro Football Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith to Purses with Purpose for an exclusive Conversation with a Legend.

Widely regarded as one of the greatest running backs in NFL history, Emmitt Smith still holds the NFL records for most career rushing yards and most career rushing touchdowns. During his 15-year NFL career, he earned three Super Bowl championships, was selected to eight Pro Bowls, was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2010 and was named to the NFL 100 All-Time Team.

Since retiring from football, Emmitt has built an impressive career as an entrepreneur, author, motivational speaker, and philanthropist. He leads companies in real estate, construction, and technology while supporting educational opportunities for underserved youth through his charitable work.
