Summer has just begun, Red Hawks, but a little planning now can make back-to-school season a breeze!

As you're enjoying summer adventures, keep an eye on those school supply sales and stock up when you find great deals. We've attached the supply lists for each grade level to help your family get a head start on preparing for an amazing school year.

Find your scholar's grade-level list in the photos and save it for your next shopping trip!

We hope your summer is filled with fun, family, and memories. We'll be ready to welcome our Red Hawks back to the nest before you know it!

Our Red Hawks are resting this summer, but we are still here to help! Malvern Elementary Office Hours, May 25 - July 24, 2026. Monday - Thursday 9 a - 3 p. Closed daily for lunch from 12 p - 1 p. Closed Fridays. Malvern will also be closed in observance of the Independence Day holiday June 29 - July 3, 2026.

Red Hawk Families — Tomorrow is the LAST day of school for the 25-26 school year!

Before your scholar heads home for summer break, please remind them to check the Lost & Found for any missing jackets, water bottles, lunch boxes, or other belongings. All items remaining after tomorrow will be donated next week.

May's Lego Challenge was to create an original Lego Creation of any kind! Help us select the winner. The one with the most likes on Facebook by Friday, May 15th at noon will win.

This past week, we proudly hosted Malvern’s Inaugural Career Day, and what an incredible experience it was for our students!

All grades, Kindergarten through 5th grade, had the opportunity to learn from professionals representing more than 26 different careers. From social workers, lawyers, paralegals, chefs, engineers, entrepreneurs, recruiters, Realtors, and healthcare professionals to field technicians, auditors, and even a United States Marine currently attending college using military benefits. Our scholars were inspired by the many paths available to them.

We are especially excited to continue highlighting the growing Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs within McKinney Independent School District and helping students begin making real-world connections at an early age.

A huge THANK YOU to the parents, community members, and volunteers who gave their time to invest in our scholars and share their stories. Your willingness to pour into the next generation made today truly special.

We are already looking forward to expanding Career Day even more next year!
