5 hours and 30 minutes after our 6PM start time and your Broncos WIN against Prosper High! We had lots of incredible comebacks and nail biting matches, and our broncos fought tooth and nail to get a GREAT win against a tough team. We are so proud of you broncos! 🎾🎉

Introducing your 2024-2025 McKinney Boyd Bronco Tennis Teams! Varsity has their first match next Wednesday, July 31st at 3:30 PM at the Boyd Tennis Courts. Come out and support our broncos!

TRYOUT UPDATE 7/22 PLEASE READ:

The courts at Boyd are currently soaked. The rain has stopped but it will take time to dry. We are pushing everything back 30 mins.

New and incoming players will still have tryouts! BOYS will be 8:30-11:00 am and GIRLS will be 11:00 am - 1:30 pm. Sorry about the delay but we can’t predict the weather. See you soon!

We will see ALL incoming freshmen AND players that are new to the Boyd Tennis Program tomorrow for the start of tryouts for the 2024-2025 school year!

ALL players please remember to bring the following with you the first day of your tryout:

A COPY of your birth certificate (freshman/new only)
A utility bill from July of 2024
Make sure all rankone paperwork is complete
Make sure you have your physical on file on rankone (you can turn this in to Coach Vargas in the morning)
Bring your summer points sheet

We can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow, go broncos!

Friday McKinney Boyd closed out their year with a BANG at banquet. We are so proud of all the hard work this team has put in over the year. Parents, thank you for all that you’ve done and allowing us to spend time molding your kids. Seniors, we love you and will miss you, but are so excited for what lies ahead for you all! 🤍🎾

JV finished out their spring season tonight. We had some tough matches and we rose to the occasion and played the best tennis we have played all year. As coaches, that’s all you can ask of your players. We can’t WAIT to see what next year holds for this group. Bring on 2024-2025! A special congratulations to our top 4 finishers today:

Our 2024 Varsity Spring Season has come to an end.
We fought hard the last two days and had some incredible matches, and had three 3rd Place finishes to cap off our 2024 Spring Season. Broncos, we are SO proud of all of the hard work you’ve put in this year. You left everything out on the court, which is all we could ever ask of you.

To our ELEVEN incredible seniors. This team will not be the same without you. You’ve stuck by this team through incredible wins, heartbreaking losses, COVID-19, countless hours on the court, blood, sweat, and tears. Thank you for being a part of our program and making it as great as it is today. You have left a lasting legacy—know that we love you and will miss you, but are so excited for you all as you take this next exciting step in your lives.
