A huge thank you to Wild Birds Unlimited for donating a bird feeding station and bird bath to our school garden! We learned how to put the system together and take care of our birds from Birdie, the owner. The feeder is placed in an area that all the classrooms that look over the garden including the library can see it. How lucky are we?

We also cleaned out French drains, planted veggies and added 5 native Texas Rock Rose perennial plants to our garden.

Submit Your Art in the PTA Reflections Program!
Reflections is a national arts program that allows students to create original artwork inspired by this year’s theme and provides the opportunity to receive awards at the district, state, and even national level.

This year’s theme: “What My Culture Means to Me.” But what exactly is culture? Culture is the traditions, beliefs, values, experiences, stories, celebrations, food, music, language, family customs, and things that make you who you are.

Culture can be connected to your family, heritage, community, traditions, or even the unique things your family does together. There are so many ways to interpret this theme!

Students can enter artwork in a variety of categories, including dance, music, photography, visual arts, literature, film, and more! See Cougar's reel showing you all his talent!

How to Enter:
1️⃣ Create an original piece inspired by the theme
2️⃣ Choose the category that best fits your artwork
3️⃣ Complete the online entry form
4️⃣ Submit your artwork according to the directions
