Collin College students recently delivered an outstanding performance at the Texas SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference in Corpus Christi, earning medals across all levels of competition! Fourteen students brought home gold and secured their spot at the upcoming national competition.

After 41 years of service as a founding member of the Collin College Board of Trustees, Dr. J. Robert “Bob” Collins is retiring. A resident of Farmersville, Dr. Collins served the college in numerous leadership capacities at Collin College, including chair of the Board of Trustees and chair of the Organization, Education, and Policy Committee. A new opportunity is here with Collin EDGE! We recently welcomed our inaugural cohort during a celebratory kickoff, marking an exciting milestone for students ready to get a head start on college.
Beginning in the 2026–27 school year, eligible juniors and seniors will be able to earn transferable college credit and work towards the full 44-hour Texas Core Curriculum while still completing high school.
