Yes, Texas!! 👏
Texas Senate bills target nutrition standards in public schools, grocery stores Senate Bill 314 would ban certain food additives from free and reduced-price meals served in public schools. Senate Bill 25 proposes requiring students to take nutrition classes beginning in high school and directing food manufacturers to label products containing certain ingredients.

As we age, our bodies don’t work the same way that they used to. But don’t worry! You can hack into your system with supplements to keep everything running as it always has. Start with these five:
-Vitamin C: This one helps with hormones. If you’re having trouble staying calm and find yourself getting frazzled or angry a lot, you might be deficient. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist about taking a supplement.
-Magnesium: This one is extra important if you’re a woman over 35 dealing with PMS. Magnesium helps alleviate muscle spasms, i.e. period cramps.
-Vitamin D: You reach your peak bone mass around age 30, after that, calcium is super important. Vitamin D helps your body absorb calcium. It also keeps your skin from getting dry and is a good supplement for anyone who is post-menopausal.
-Omega-3: This stuff lowers stress hormones and reduces inflammation, which is the root of many diseases. Unless you eat fish every day, consider an omega-3 supplement.
-Selenium: This one helps regulate the thyroid, which has a tendency to become more unpredictable and persnickety as you age. Conveniently, one of the best ways to get your selenium is by eating two Brazil nuts per day. That’s all!
