This week our PREP students traded the classroom for an exciting day of hands-on learning and adventure at Sharkarosa Zoo! From feeding animals and exploring new habitats to making memories with friends, every moment was filled with curiosity, laughter, and discovery.

We love providing experiences that bring learning to life, and watching our students’ faces light up as they interacted with animals was something truly special. These are the moments that inspire a love of learning and create memories that last a lifetime. 💙

📬 Mailbox Friday Reminder! 💌

One of our students’ favorite traditions is Mailbox Friday! Parents, grandparents, relatives, and special friends are invited to send your child a letter, postcard, drawing, or small surprise to be delivered during the school day. There’s nothing quite like seeing their face light up when they receive mail addressed just to them. 💙

If you would like to participate, please make sure all mail is clearly labeled with:
📍 Student’s first and last name
📍 Class name

Mail can be dropped off or mailed directly to the school and will be delivered during the afternoon.

A simple note can make a child’s entire day. ✨

Many parents are surprised to learn that children can lose academic and developmental momentum over the summer when routines, social interaction, and enriching experiences disappear.

The good news? Preventing it doesn’t require worksheets all day or turning your home into a classroom.

Business Spotlight: Ninja Nation Frisco ⭐🥷

If you’re looking for a place where your child can burn energy, build confidence, and have an absolute blast, you need to check out Ninja Nation Frisco!

Our PREP students recently had the opportunity to visit, and it was the perfect combination of fun, movement, and challenge. From climbing walls and obstacle courses to balance challenges and ninja training, every child had the chance to test their skills while building strength, coordination, and confidence.

What we love most is that Ninja Nation isn’t just about having fun, it’s about teaching kids perseverance, problem-solving, and resilience in an environment that makes them excited to try new things.

Watching our students encourage one another, tackle obstacles, and celebrate their accomplishments was incredible to see. 💙
