🍎 Lizbeth Alvarez joins our 1st Grade Team! A proud Aggie from Sulphur Springs, Lizbeth is excited to be part of the Sonntag family and is passionate about building a positive, supportive school community.

⭐ Ava Isenberg joins our Resource Team! Originally from Hudson, Wisconsin, Ava recently graduated from the University of Alabama in Elementary and Special Education and is already working toward her master’s degree. We’re thrilled to welcome her as she begins her teaching career at Sonntag!

Today we welcomed our incredible Sonntag staff back to kick off the 2026–2027 school year! We spent time reflecting on our strengths, setting goals, and building a strong foundation for an amazing year ahead.

🎉 Please join us in welcoming Kierstyn Warnell to the Sonntag Elementary 2nd Grade Team! 🎉

Kierstyn brings 14 years of experience in elementary education, curriculum design, and instructional coaching. She is passionate about helping every child succeed and creating engaging, inclusive classrooms where students thrive.

Outside of school, she's a proud mom of three teenage boys and enjoys cooking, listening to music, and spending time with her family.

We're excited to have Ms. Warnell join the Sonntag family and can't wait for an amazing school year!

🎉 Please join us in welcoming Meredith Miller to the Sonntag Elementary Team as our new Language Coach! 💙

Meredith brings 10 years of experience in education—all with FISD! Her background includes teaching 2nd, 4th, and 5th grade, as well as serving as a Language Acquisition Specialist. As our Language Coach, she'll partner with teachers and support our emergent bilingual learners to help every student thrive.

Outside of school, Meredith enjoys Orangetheory workouts, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Dallas Stars. ⭐🏒

We're excited to have Meredith join the Sonntag family and can't wait for the great things ahead!

📚 Meet the Teacher (Pre-K–5th Grade): 5:30–6:30 PM

Come meet your teacher, drop off school supplies, explore your classroom, and kick off the 2026–2027 school year with us. We can’t wait to see all of your smiling faces and begin another year of learning, growth, and unforgettable memories!
