McKinney ISD Council of PTAs

For the first time in over 10 years, Malvern Elementary is establishing its very own PTA! 🦅❤️ Having an active PTA on campus will bring incredible resources, advocacy, and community support directly to these deserving Red Hawks.
Building a new PTA from the ground up takes a village. We are calling on all of our local PTA and PTO leaders, experienced board members, and community supporters across McKinney ISD to show up in full force and help wrap our arms around this new board!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Public Education Candidate Forum! We had a fantastic evening of meaningful dialogue focused on public school funding, student success, teacher support, and the future of public education in our community.

A sincere thank you to the candidates and official representatives who took time out of their busy campaign schedules to attend, speak with our families, and share their vision for public education.

Nonpartisan Commitment & Event Notice: As a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) organization, the McKinney ISD Council of PTAs does not endorse, support, or oppose any candidate or political party. In strict accordance with Texas PTA guidelines and state policy, all ballot-qualified candidates across all races were extended equal invitations multiple times, in multiple ways, and across multiple channels leading up to the event.

Watch our short video recap below to see highlights, speaker clips, and moments from the evening!
Thank you to our local PTA and PTO leaders, district partners, and community members who came out to listen, learn, and engage. Remember to make your voice heard at the polls!

Calling all McKinney ISD Local PTA Membership Chairs! 🎒

The September 30th deadline to qualify for the Texas PTA Early Bird Membership Award is fast approaching. Earning this state recognition showcases your campus’s early membership momentum and community support with 100% of your campus membership numbers compared to last year.

📋 How to finalize your roster by September 30:
Using JoinPTA.org directly? Log in, double-check your current member count, and remit state/national dues to lock in your numbers.
Using Membership Toolkit (MTK) or processing paper/manual memberships?
1. Export your dues-paid member list from MTK (or aggregate your paper forms).
2. Upload/enter your roster into myPTEZ.com and submit via the Texas PTA portal: txpta.my.salesforce-sites.com/MemberDuesAndCards
3. Ensure state & national dues are remitted.
Need help exporting from MTK, processing manual forms, or logging into myPTEZ.com? You are not on an island! Reach out directly to our Council VP of Membership, Danielle, for quick, 1-on-1 assistance. 🤝
