We were thrilled to learn that Texas PTA has awarded Wolford PTA every membership award we earned during the 2025-2026 school year. Even though our PTA has closed this chapter, these awards are a testament to the dedication, support, and involvement of our amazing Wolford community.

This recognition belongs to every parent, teacher, staff member, grandparent, student, and supporter who chose to become a PTA member and invest in our school. Your support helped us leave a lasting legacy.

A very special shoutout goes to Stephanie Scott, who worked tirelessly this year to lead our membership efforts. Because of her hard work, organization, and commitment, Wolford PTA truly went out in award-winning style! 🎉

As we say goodbye to Wolford PTA, we're proud of everything we accomplished together and grateful that our final year will be remembered with such meaningful recognition.

🎉We are excited to announce that McKinney Council of PTAs has been selected to receive a Texas PTA Advocacy Impact Award for the 2025-2026 school year. This award recognizes our PTA board’s efforts to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children!

Thank you to our local PTAs and PTA members for supporting these advocacy efforts this year! We look forward to continuing this momentum next year!

🔹 July 2025 — McKinney Council of PTAs hosted a roundtable for all local PTAs to train and prepare for the school year.

🔹 February 2026 — McKinney Council of PTAs hosted our second candidate forum, where we had local, state and federal candidates represented. We invited the community to hear how these candidates support public education. Taking a few questions from the audience, we were able to get to know our candidates better.

🔹 April 2026 — The McKinney Council of PTAs participated in “Straight Talk - Raising the AI Generation”. We had multiple PTA members attend and feedback was positive and relevant. It was good information for parents and principals.
