What a sweet and memorable Christmas program we had! 🎄✨

We were so blessed to share the true reason why we celebrate Christmas, and what a joy it was to experience it together as a community. Children, parents, and staff all had an absolute blast!
Throughout the month, our children have been learning about Christmas—its meaning, its story, and the love it represents. The play we put together was a special extra activity that allowed them to explore the season in an even deeper and more hands-on way. Watching them shine with confidence, excitement, and pure joy was truly priceless.
The children’s smiles, their excitement on stage, and the proud, joyful faces of parents made the day unforgettable.

What a special morning for our Preschool and Pre-K classes! 🎄✨
We had the joy of welcoming Ms. Felicia Funkhouser, who came to share the Christmas story from her beautiful first book, “The Night Before Christmas – A Jesus Story.” 📖❤️
Our little ones were captivated! They listened, engaged, and connected the story with everything they’ve been learning about Christmas this month. Their excitement, curiosity, and joy filled the room!

We started our Thanksgiving celebration by raising our hearts in worship with the Life Fellowship Worship Team. Next, Ms. Dani shared the Gospel with everyone present, and our little ones helped bring the story to life! They danced, shared, and participated with such excitement, spreading joy to all around them.

And of course, we savored the incredible Thanksgiving feast prepared by Ms. Turkessa, Ms. Brae, and Ms. Kara! 🍽️🧡 Families gathered, parents connected, children laughed, and every bite was shared with love and thankfulness.

We are deeply grateful for every parent, child, and team member who made today truly unforgettable.

🌟 Learning to Thank God for Our Daily Bread 🌟

This week, our little learners are discovering that we can thank God for the food we eat. 🥖🍎

As we explore Exodus 16, the children are learning how God’s people were hungry in the desert and how He lovingly provided food for them.

To bring the story to life, we enjoyed a fun pretend picnic, marching around the room with a cheerful chant as we imagined gathering the food God provided. 🧺✨

Such a beautiful way to help our children see God’s faithfulness and care in their everyday lives! 💛

Our little ones had so much fun learning their Memory Verse:
“I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart.” — Psalm 111:1
We used a big heart on the floor to help us learn! First, the children practiced the motions, and then the real fun began!
They walked around the heart, froze in place, and jumped inside the heart every time they heard the word “heart.” 🙌💛
So much laughter, so many giggles, and the sweetest little voices saying God’s Word together.
After our activity, we talked about how we can thank God for everything, our families, friends, teachers, food, and all the good things He gives us.

We are thrilled to announce that our very own Turkessa Shelley was awarded the Heartfelt Hero Award at our recent Academy Director retreat. Turkessa’s Heart to Serve shines through every challenge as she leads with faith and humility. She reminds us all what it looks like to serve like Jesus. 💗

We are so blessed by Turkessa's leadership at this academy and grateful for the well-deserved recognition. Be sure to tell her congratulations the next time you see her!

🎉 Parading Through the Word at Lionheart! 🎉

Our Fall Festival this year was amazing! We turned our entire academy into a living Bible experience, bringing Scripture to life in each classroom. Families were invited to join us for snacks, photos, and a joyful parade through the building, and what they experienced was truly special.

As children paraded down the hallways in their costumes, songs and laughter filled the air, while teachers joyfully welcomed families.

Every classroom represented a powerful story from God’s Word: Noah’s Ark, Daniel in the Lion’s Den, Jesus Feeds the 5,000, the Great Commission, Creation, and more! Each space was decorated beautifully and thoughtfully, and children had the opportunity to show their parents the crafts they made to remember these stories.

It wasn't just a fun time; it was meaningful and filled with gospel seeds. We are so thankful for the amazing work our staff put into this event! They truly created an atmosphere where God’s truth could shine brightly and joyfully in every classroom!

To wrap up our week learning about Gideon, the children made halos 😇 and became little angels just like the one who delivered God’s message to Gideon!

It was such a fun and meaningful reminder that God is always with us and gives us courage to do great things! 💛

🚜 Exploring Life on the Farm! 🐷

As part of our ongoing “Life Down on the Farm” theme, our preschoolers are discovering what makes farm life so special, all while growing important developmental skills!

Through hands-on crafts and playful activities, they’re not just learning about farm animals and where our food comes from, but they’re also building important skills every step of the way!

As they cut, glue, paint, and sort, they’re strengthening their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and creativity. Farm-themed games and group activities also help them grow in language development, problem-solving, and social-emotional skills as they work and play together. ❤️

It’s amazing to see how much learning and joy can come from life down on the farm! 🌻🐔

Everything the Bible says is absolutely true! Our little ones are already getting to touch, hold, and explore God’s Word! What a beautiful start to their faith journey! ✨
They’re learning early that God made them, God loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever! 🙌

Did you know that we have a Bible-based curriculum designed especially for our little ones? 💛 From our Infant Room all the way up to our Trailblazers (ages 6–12), children get to hear and experience the Good News through Bible stories, songs, videos, and fun activities every day!
And that’s not all! We also gather for Chapel Time each week to worship, learn, and grow in God’s love together. 🙌

🐮🌾 Life Down on the Farm! 🌾🐷

Our little learners have been having so much fun discovering what life is like down on the farm! 🚜🐔 From learning about different animals and their sounds to exploring all the important jobs farmers do, our classrooms have been full of excitement, creativity, and hands-on learning. 🎨👩‍🌾👨‍🌾
We love seeing our children’s imaginations come to life through crafts, songs, and activities that help them understand God’s amazing creation, and all the ways we can care for it! 💛
