Ancora Academy

Ancora Academy held a “Faces of History” event at the end of March! We’ve been studying American History all year and our students chose a historic figure to research, write about and give an oral presentation on. We had Abigail Adams, George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, John Smith, Sam Houston, the Wright Brothers and so many more!

The teachers did a wonderful job organizing the event and the students did a superb job with their presentations. Thank you parents for working with your children and helping make this a very memorable experience.

What an incredible week we had at Ancora Academy! Music at the schoolhouse, violin practice at the church, Annie Jr. rehearsal, Read Across America and book buddies.

Our mastery students had fun with superheroes spirit day and the students taught each other how to play volleyball and crochet during the leadership and life skills classes. The Ancora community is very special!

We are so excited to bring you a "Summer at the Schoolhouse!" 6 weeks of engaging and educational summer camps for children 5-11 years of age. Art, theater, science and more!

The students at the schoolhouse performed a sweet nativity program, complete with costumes and music. This has been a special tradition for the last 3 years. What a beautiful day outside!

The Ancora debut of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever was another great debut for Ancora. The kids were excited, the families were enjoying themselves, and the atmosphere was just right for our students to shine.

Thank you to our parents for your continued support, and thank you to our students for such a wonderful performance!

Our hearts are filled with gratitude this week! We had a very special Veterans Day Program with music and messages, to recognize our veterans. Huge thank you to our amazing music teachers, Mrs. Ohrn and Ms. Trempala for all your time in preparing the programs for each campus. I was emotional when the service members stood!
